Quick answers

Are these the exact amounts I'll pay?

They're the official government fees and funds rules as of the date at the top of the page. Your final amount is confirmed when you apply, so always check the official site linked in each section.

What's the difference between fees and funds to show?

Fees are paid to the government and you don't get them back. Funds to show are money that must sit in your account to prove you can support yourself. You keep it, but it has to be there before you apply.

Which exchange rate is used?

A live market rate that updates daily. Banks and money transfer apps charge a margin on top, and the UK Home Office uses the OANDA rate on the day you apply, so keep a buffer.

How often is this updated?

Fees, the US Visa Bulletin and Canada's Express Entry draws are checked every month. The date at the top shows the last update.
